Rihanna confirms that she is “very close” with Chris Brown once again
When it comes to Chris Brown and Rihanna’s relationship there are so many rumours floating around that its hard to know what to believe.
We do know of course that Brown viciously assaulted the singer back in 2009 leading to the eventual end of their relationship, however since then there have been whisperings that the romance between them might not be totally over.
Now the singer has gone and confirmed herself – as in with her own mouth during a TV interview with Oprah Winfrey - that she and Chris are “very close” again and that she still loves him. She told the veteran chatshow host (in a snippet from an interview which aired last night):
‘We built a trust again and that's it. We love each other and we probably always will,’ through tears she added:
‘We've been working on our friendship again and now we're very close friends and that's not anything we're going to try to change.’
‘It's awkward because I still love him. My stomach drops and I have to maintain this poker face and not let it get to the outer part of me. I have to maintain it and suppress it.’
‘When you don't understand those feelings you can make a lot of mistakes.’
We have a feeling she’s about to make a couple more mistakes if she’s not careful as well.
