Blake Fielder Civil’s partner Sarah Aspin reveals she’s pregnant with his second child
The mother of Blake Fielder Civil’s 15-month-old son Jack has revealed that she is carrying the recovering drug addict’s second child.
Sarah Aspin was left traumatised when she awoke earlier this month to find Blake choking in their bed following a drink and drugs binge.
The ex-husband of Amy Winehouse was then put in a medically induced coma after suffering from multiple organ failure. Just four days later Aspin then discovered she was pregnant.
'I don’t agree with abortions, but I couldn’t help but think that being on my own with two children, while I was grieving, could be too much to deal with’ she told Reveal magazine.
'But I thought that I had Blake’s life inside me – and there was no way I was going to get rid of it.'
Sarah was able to tell Blake about the baby when doctors took him out of his coma a few days later, causing him to “smile”. She says he’s now on the mend and could be released from hospital as early as next week. She added:
'The doctors told me to phone his family and prepare them for the worst. It was a horrible, horrible time.
