That was quick! Geri Halliwell & Russell Brand agree to a cooling down period…
Despite the fact that Geri Halliwell and Russell Brand have only been together for 13 days, in celebrity years (which work like dog ones) that’s actually pretty long.
So it seems only fair that the two have decided to pour cold water over the embers of their sizzling romance. A source close to the two told the tabloids today:
“Geri was smitten but things have petered out a tad. He isn’t ready to settle down so soon after coming out of marriage, whereas Geri is probably more ready to have a relationship.
“She wants a pad and spent Saturday dragging Russell around properties near Devon. It probably seemed a little much. Russell is a huge flirt and Geri won’t stand for any nonsense – her friends are telling her not to get serious about him.”
Just yesterday Gezza spoke out for the first time about her romance with Russell to say that it had been “a whirlwind”. She added: “All I want is to be in a loving relationship.”
Better keep on searching then Geri, hadn’t you?
