Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively have married in secret… apparently
For the second time in his life Ryan Reynolds has managed to orchestrate a “secret wedding” thereby pulling the proverbial wool over the eyes of the press.
According to reports the actor married his girlfriend of one year, Blake Lively, in a intimate ceremony held at Boone Hall Plantation in Mt. Pleasant, just outside of Charleston in South Carolina.
The venue is said to cost £30k to hire and it’s being claimed Blake’s pal Florence (of the And The Machine fame) performed for the guests after the nuptials were said.
A local radio DJ thinks he has the inside story behind the ceremony, and he told People Magazine in the US:
"A few days ago, I heard Ryan was back in town. Then today, lots of signs went up at Boone Hall Plantation stating that it was holding a private event, so no one could get into the area. I also started hearing rumors that a celebrity wedding was taking place.
“I am being told there were around 60 people at the event and that a local restaurant may have catered it. Ryan has always loved it here and when he got together with Blake, he started to bring her here, too."
Ryan, 35, was previously married to Scarlett Johansson and began seeing Blake, 25, following his divorce from her back in 2010.
The Gossip Girl actress gave a hint to her Twitter followers about the impending wedding b over the weekend by saying: 'the dream of a lifetime'.
