As Kim’s stepdad says Perfect Bitch is ‘crass’, Kanye asks Twitter followers if they agree
When we first heard Perfect Bitch, the new ditty Kanye West wrote about Kim Kardashian, we weren’t entirely sure how flattered we thought we’d be if we were her.
But then Kim said that she loved it and we decided we thought it was cute.
Now it’s been reported that Kim’s dad Bruce Jenner is none to happy about the tune.
A source revealed: "Bruce didn’t like Kanye from the start. He thinks he’s crass – and disrespectful! He told Kim she’d better take a serious look at ALL her failed relationships – and figure out why she keeps falling for the wrong type of guy.
“Bruce said, ‘You’re never going to be in a successful relationship if you keep going out with men like Kanye!'"
Meanwhile, it seems like Kanye has picked up on his father-in-law-to-be’s opinion.
The rapper took to Twitter to ask a series of questions: "I usually never tweet questions but I struggle with this so here goes... Is the word BITCH acceptable,
"To be more specific, is it acceptable for a man to call a woman a bitch even if it's endearing?
"Even typing it in question form it still feels harsh? Has hip hop conditioned us to accept this word? Do we love this word as much as we love the word N***A in an endearing way?
"Correction, here's the age old question, would we refer to our mothers as bitches? Would we call our fathers n***ers or better yet N***AS?"
He continued: "If n***a is such a positive word, why do we feel so uncomfortable for white people to say it, even with a hall pass?
"Is it ok to use bitch as long as we put BAD in front of it? Like you a BAD BITCH. Perhaps the words BITCH and N***A are now neither positive or negative. They are just potent and it depends on how the are used and by whom?
"What if there was no profanity... What if we decided to legalise profanity in a sense? In France they play songs with cursing on the radio."
Wow, someone is feeling thoughtful, aren’t they? He concluded his questioning, saying: "I was recently questioned about the use of the word BITCH in my music and initially was offended by anyone questioning anything in my music.
"Stevie Wonder never had to use the word bitch to get his point across. I will admit that I sometimes go back an omit cursing from my records. I like to use profanity as a tool and not a crutch.
"I'm not tweeting to say what we need and what we don't... I just wanted to think out loud with you guys today..."
When he says ‘he was recently questioned’, does he mean by Bruce? If so, we’re impressed by how seriously he’s taking all this. We reckon wedding bells will be on the cards soon, well when her divorce finally happens.
