Alex Reid has been arrested…
Cage fighter and on/off partner of Chantelle Houghton, Alex Reid has been arrested after police were called to the Essex home he shares with the new mum.
Alex is in custody after the arrest took place in the early hours of this morning ‘ on suspicions of criminal damage and using violence to secure entry’ following a disturbance at their home.
A police spokesperson said: 'Police were contacted just before 1.30am this morning with reports of a disturbance at a property in Spital Lane, Brentwood.
'A 37-year old man from Brentwood was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and using violence to secure entry, and is currently in police custody.'
Neither Alex’s or Chantelle’s people have commented yet on the incident.
The arrest comes just a day after Alex admitted the couple have been going through a hard time. It certainly sounds like it, doesn’t it? We just hope 11-week-year-old Dolly is kept out of all of it.
