Alex Reid admits he’s “made some mistakes” as he denies Chantelle split rumours…
During the course of their turbulent relationship, Alex Reid and Chantelle Houghton have been rocked by more split rumours than we can remember.
The most recent one being that Alex allegedly “walked out” on Chantelle on their baby Dolly for a whole week. Predictably the cagefighter has spoken out about the rumour in a magazine this week saying that he didn’t walk out on Chantes at all - he just had “some time out” from her.
'I never walked out on Chantelle. Chantelle and I agreed it was good to have some time out. It’s very constructive for a relationship, to have some breathing space’ he told New magazine.
'It wasn’t a week at all. We did actually argue about that. It was three days. But still, I went away.'
He admitted though that he had perhaps made a few bad choices lately, however was committed to making a success of their relationship.
“I’m doing everything in my power to make it work. I’ve made bad mistakes and choices.”
Despite their issues, Alex is adamant Dolly will have a sibling soon – and a brother no less. He added:
'Dolly’s going to have a little brother in the future, so grateful she is here. If me and Chantelle never see each other again then we still have Dolly.'
