Tom Daley on the X Factor? Yes please…
If you are still having Olympic withdrawal symptoms, then this piece of news will make you happy.
Diver Tom Daley (the young cute one) is reportedly going to appear on the X Factor, during their ‘Olympic Week’.
Apparently he will be joined by other Olympians, including Mo Farrah, Jessica Ennis and Sir Chris Hoy.
But Tommy wants more than just a guest appearance; he’s after a more permanent presenting role.
A source told The Sun: "All the athletes are keen to be involved. But Tom is keenest by far and he makes a really good match for X Factor's core audience of teenage girls.
"Tom is great on the telly and he'd really like to get involved in all the live shows in some way. Ideas being kicked about at the moment include making him a roving reporter.
"He could take the contestants out and about to film or to be their personal trainer. He's keen to work with Dermot. He reckons he's the best in the business."
If he does take part, its thought he’d earn £100,000 and if you were wondering about the whole Olympic themed week, well they’ll be singing Olympic themed tracks. We can’t actually think of any apart from that Muse one made especially for the games, can you?
