The Wanted get their underwear out as they urge fans to help them beat One Direction at MTV Awards

We do love The Wanted but that whole underwear being thrown on stage at heartthrob types is well dated.
Still, Jay McGuiness, Max George, Tom Parker, Siva Kaneswaran, and Nathan Sykes opted to bring their own pants to the performance as they flashed boxers with the
American flag and Union Jack during a performance for Good Morning America.
The lads were in Rumsey Playfield in Central Park as part of the summer concert series in New York City.
They even planted a bra by their microphone to seemingly prove they were more desired than One Direction.
They later tweeted after the stunt: “Today is the last day to vote for us for the MTV VMA's - let's do this!!”
Tyra Banks was also around, doing her um... sexy dance for the band who want to win Best New Artist.
