Robert Pattinson awkwardly dodges more questions about Kirsten in new TV interview

We feel for Robert Pattinson right now, we really do. He’s always been a very private person and at the moment he’s being forced into a position where he’s been quizzed about his personal life on a daily basis, and it does not sit well with him.

He’s currently tied into promoting his latest film Cosmopolis and while doing so he’s being made to sit through one interview after another about the movie, obviously though most journalists have seized upon the opportunity to ask him about Kristen Stewart’s affair with a married man – which was just exposed a matter of weeks ago.

Yesterday he managed to dodge questions about it on the Jon Stewart show rather well and humorously, this time round he wasn’t quite as successful. During a chat with Showbiz Tonight one reporter decided to really probe him about how he was holding up asking him if he “really was ok” because fans had been “concerned about him”.

Pattinson did his best to try and laugh the talk off but was visibly uncomfortable, the interviewer then went onto say there had been reports he’d been struggling to come to terms with the affair and had been 'drinking and wallowing in misery’ to which he replied:

'Since the first Twilight you enter this realm where things are reported about you. It's weird.'

Luckily director David Cronenberg, who was sitting by his side, chimed in at this time saying:

'It's a very abstract realm that doesn't really have a lot to do with personal reality’

Rob added: 'you start having a total disassociation'.

Cronenberg then said: 'People think they know what's going on but they don't really.'

'So you really are ok?' the reporter asked one more to which R-Patz shuffled around awkwardly again and responded: 'Yeah’.

Robert’s next awkward TV outing will be on Good Morning America today. Poor him.
