Kerry Katona insists she’s “just friends” with new male model pal, world raises sceptical eyebrow
Now we’re not one of these people who believe a straight man and a straight woman can’t be “just good friends” it’s just that we’re not entirely convinced by Kerry Katona’s claim that she is indeed simply pals with her new mate Jonny Laidler – who just so happens to be a hunky model. Here’s why…
- They met at a party (an OK! magazine party no less). Do a man and a woman ever meet at a party and become “just good friends” straight afterwards? Possibly, but maybe after a good couple of shags first.
- The two recently went back to Kerry’s mum’s house together in Warrington, and afterwards Jonny Tweeted Sue Katona to say: “it was lovely meeting you”.
- Kerry is currently in the US and while there Jonny has been Tweeting her asking when they can “Skype”.
- Actually we don’t have a number four, we were rather hoping that the above three pieces of evidence would be enough to convince you, then we realised we didn’t like uneven numbers so we had to create a fourth point.
So there you have it, categorical proof that there is already something going on between the two, or at least proof that one of them is desperately hoping something will go on between them. Which leads us to Kerry Katona’s ‘OK!’ column this week where she’s said of Jonny:
“He’s just a friend – a very hot good-looking friend. But it’s highly unlikely a 24 year old would be interested in me!”
Yeah, she’s up for it.
P.s. Interesting fact about Jonny: before being signed as a model, he used to weigh 20st and was a recluse who played video games all day and only lost weight when he split from his then girlfriend and the rest, as we say, is history.
