Kate Hudson dazzles at the Venice film festival, Matt Bellamy not so much
While Kate Hudson was a vision of sophistication and elegance at the opening of the Venice Film Festival last night, her fiancé Matt Bellamy just looked like an awkward teenager attempting to look cool while being dragged along the red carpet by his slightly irritated mother.
Too harsh? Quite possibly yes. Anyway speaking of mothers, Matt has been talking this week about the birth of his and Kate’s son Bingham Bellamy (what a seamless link eh?). Going into perhaps more detail than we would have wanted him to, Matt said:
“Oh yeah, I was there at the birth. I was watching the whole thing. I was holding her leg up when she pushed him out. She didn't want me to watch but I was there, getting my hands dirty, so to speak."
And just like that the prospect of having a mid-morning snack has gone right out of the window.
Elsewhere at the glitzy film festival yesterday, Naomi Watts turned up with Liev Schreiber and some woman arrived in a Jordan’s wedding dress from the time she married Peter Andre.
