Cher Lloyd leaves the stage at V Festival after reveller throws a bottle of urine at her
Since she rose to fame in X Factor we imagine Cher Lloyd has encountered a tough crowd or two, possibly none so tough as the one she performed in front of at the V Festival in Chelmsford yesterday.
The singer was reportedly booed by some factions of the crowd and also had a bottle full of urine chucked at her, causing her to walk off stage saying: “it’s not nice having bottles of piss chucked at you”.
Credit where credit is due though, after a brief cry Cher headed back to face the audience and continued her performance again. Afterwards she took to Twitter to say:
‘Thank you so much for all the nice messages, shame that a couple of people had to ruin it, unfortunately a glass bottle got thrown at me on stage. Tomorrow is another day, big love to my brats!!! Xx.'
Speaking to the press afterwards her manager said: 'It's a real shame that a few individuals spoil the gig for all the other fans in the audience.'
Elsewhere at the festival Tulisa and Rita Ora performed (without getting piss lobbed at them) while Caroline Flack and Billie Piper were spotted amongst the crowd.
